Peer Review Policy

Lingua Montenegrina maintains a rigorous, transparent, and ethical peer review process to ensure high-quality publications.

Type of Peer Review

  • Double-blind review: Reviewer and author identities are anonymized throughout the process.

Reviewer Selection

  • Reviewers are selected based on expertise and academic standing in relevant fields.
  • Conflicts of interest are disclosed, and reviewers recuse themselves if necessary.

Review Responsibilities

  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively, with clear reasoning and evidence.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality; unpublished materials must not be shared or used for personal research.
  • Report suspected ethical violations (plagiarism, falsified data, or misconduct) to the editorial board.

Review Procedure

  1. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts.
  2. Reviewers submit detailed reports within 30–60 days.
  3. If opinions diverge, a third reviewer may be consulted.
  4. Authors receive anonymized feedback and must respond with point-by-point revisions if required.
