Tendencies of the Literary Norm in the Texts of Contemporary Ukrainian Media Resources: a Pan-Slavic Context
Keywords:
literary norm, digital environment, axiological standard, expressivization, simplified linguistic normsAbstract
The article examines the evolving tendencies in the literary norm of the modern Ukrainian language in light of both intrinsic national values and pan-Slavic contexts, as well as the challenges arising from the digital mode of information dissemination. Key transformations are attributed to the strengthening of authorial voice across different genres and stylistic domains, and to global trends in the expressivization of language. These phenomena may result in stylistic polymorphism and the adoption of simplified linguistic standards. The study observes, through the interplay of journalistic, academic, and religious styles, a shifting balance between bookish and colloquial elements in traditionally conservative varieties of language, and highlights the role of interactive technologies in shaping intellectual discourse in contemporary society.
